The Inferno Series by DDA Collectibles
The Inferno Series was first released in July 2024 and has quickly become a favourite in the 1:24 scale DDA Collectibles range.

The first car in the series was the Matte Black A9X Torana with an LS6 Twin-Turbo engine. To date, this has been one of our best sellers, selling out within days.

The second and latest release in the Inferno Series is the XW Falcon with a Coyote fuel-injected engine. This is would have to be one of the toughest XW Falcon models going around.

Earlier in the week, we caught up with John from DDA Collectibles to discuss the Inferno Series and his plans for the range.

Where did the Inferno Series idea come from? "Jesse and I were discussing the idea of creating a 1:24 scale series featuring black cars. After going back and forth, we decided on a design with a matte black finish and blood-red accents, giving the impression that the car was forged from the flames of hell itself. Our goal was to make these cars feel intimidating, as if they could strike fear into anyone who saw them on the road."

What is signature to the Inferno Series? "Each car in the Inferno Series follows a black-and-red color scheme across the exterior, interior, and engine. All models will have a matte black body with a carbon fiber-style bonnet. Additionally, the red base in the signature window box display will be a feature of the series."

How many cars can we expect in each run? "Well... the first release A9X Torana, and the second release XW Falcon, were both limited to 840 pieces. However, we are considering reducing the next release to 600 to make them even rarer."

How many Chase variants can we expect? "Each release so far has included only 36 chase cars, featuring chrome red accents. The number of chase variants will always be limited, depending on the number in each run."

What are your plans for this range? "We haven’t finalised the next car in the series yet, but we have a few ideas in mind. What we can confirm is that a Valiant will be included in the future, as we are about to start producing the first 1:24 scale Valiants in the DDA Collectibles range."

We’re excited to see what comes next and are confident it will be another standout Aussie muscle car custom!

Thanks to John from DDA Collectibles for sharing insights into the Inferno Series and future plans.
